Common questions
What does Platz cost?
Platz is free to use. On each paid ticket, Platz adds a platform fee of 1.25% + $0.60. Free tickets are never charged a fee. Stripe also charges its standard processing fee on paid tickets.
Who pays the platform fee?
You choose in your organization settings. By default you absorb it, so attendees pay the ticket price you set. Or you can pass it on, and attendees see it as a service fee at checkout.
Is there a subscription or contract?
No. There are no monthly plans, trials or contracts. You only pay the per-ticket fee when you sell paid tickets.
Do you support non-profits?
Yes. Reach out and we will work something out. We believe community organizers should have access to good tooling regardless of budget.
How does Stripe Connect work?
You connect your own Stripe account. Attendee payments go to your Stripe account, and the platform fee is taken from each payment automatically.
